The 4Front Fusion Plate Patent Pending
Please see our compatibility guide on the store page to check compatibility with your bino harness.
The first of its kind, the Fusion Plate is a universal mounting plate that mounts a holster directly to almost all binocular pouches.
• No more shoulder or chest pain from 3-point chest holsters
• Streamlines your carry
• Doesn't put the pistol low on your stomach like other bino / holster products which can get in the way when bending over or hill climbing.
• Uses your bino pouch's harness for simplicity and comfort
Going on a day hike or out fishing? The optional 4-point harness kit is a snap to connect to your Fusion Plate, turning it into an incredibly comfortable dedicated chest holster.
We recommend either purchasing a holster through us, or using an OWB holster and removing the belt hardware to allow it to be bolted to the plate.

Glad i got it, works great.
Love the setup
Ultimately I like it, but it's not as great as I hoped it would be. I use the Eberlestock recon modular bino holster. While it does fit (as the 4Front website suggested it would), it takes away the ability to use the recon as a modular chest-pack as the pistol can't be accessed while using the modular/side module features of the Eberlestock. I ended up using the Eberlestock molle attachment to put my additional item below the bino holster and it works ok. I found it tricky to get the 4Front Fusion plate situated in a way that I could still access the bino pack clips and access my pistol too. It was quite tricky, but eventually I situated it tolerably where my pistol feels appropriately accessible. It is a fairly comfortable way to carry both my pistol as well as my binos and range finder and bear spray. My biggest complaint is that the Fusion Plate is a bit too big for the Eberlestock bino holster and I think it looks a bit wonky in general with how I had to squeeze the straps through the pre-fabbed Fusion plate holes. Functionally it is ok as long as you don't plan to clip and unclip your upper bino holster clips (I just use the bottom one instead).
Hey Alyssa, thanks for the honest review! I personally wear the Recon with my G20 on the Fusion Pate and I have the same issue with the handle blocking access to the RH modular pouch on the pack. As you suggested, I don't ever unclip my shoulder connections, just the waist. These are the inherent issues with a universal-fit product like the Fusion Plate, it's a little bit different for every pack / gun combo but I'm glad it will work for you!
It works. I’m not at all impressed with the wing nuts that are used to hold the holster on. I would like to have seen something smaller and of the same color as the rest of the hardware.
Hey Erik, we do have some lower profile black wing nuts we can send you. We make them in-house and couldn't keep up so we had to order the silver ones for the universal hardware packs. If you end up getting one of our holsters, they have black chicago screws (post style) which are even better, but those won't work with a repurposed kydex holster. We'll drop some of those black ones in the mail for you.
Great product using it several times already, easy ccw on chest thanks
